Dave Edwards

Dave Edwards is an award-winning composer and freelance musician. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT and studied trumpet with William Vacchiano, retired principal trumpet of the New York Philharmonic and Bill Babcock, previously of the Chicago Symphony. He is the former Director of Bands at Danbury High School in Danbury, CT.

As a performer, Dave was lead trumpet in the Grammy-nominated Dick Pillar Orchestra, Connecticut Repertory Theater and The Little Big Band. Dave has performed with The Pioneer Valley Symphony, Holyoke Civic Symphony, Old Post Road Orchestra, Premiere Brass Quintet, Charter Oak Brass Band, Heritage Pops Orchestra and The Valley Winds. He currently resides in Holyoke, MA.
