Eric Putnam was the Music Director of the Greater Chicopee Area Community Concert Band. He has served as a music educator, percussion director, and Music Arranger for the Blackstone-Millville Regional School District, Tantasqua Regional Senior High School, East Bridgewater High School, and the Spartans Drum and Bugle Corps.

As a percussionist Eric served with the 94th U.S. Army Reserve Band and has performed with The Valley Winds, Pioneer Valley Symphony Orchestra, Amherst Symphony Orchestra, Metrowest Symphony Orchestra, Middlesex County Volunteers Fife and Drum Corps, Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps.

A native of Chicopee, MA, Eric received his education in music from the University of Florida and Westfield State College, and in business administration from Northeastern University.

Eric is a member of the Vic Firth Education Team.
