Heather Teed

Heather Teed is a native of Wilbraham and loves living in western Mass. Heather holds master’s degrees in both psychology and clarinet performance. She is currently works as a School Adjustment Counselor at Northampton High School and previously worked as a counselor for the Holyoke Public Schools. Heather has studied clarinet at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She has served as adjunct faculty at Keene State College and taught private clarinet lessons throughout western Mass. Her principal teachers have included Michael Sussman, Eli Eban, and Deb Coon. She has been a member of the Valley Winds since its inception in 2014. Heather enjoys cooking, reading, kayaking, and spending time with family, friends, and her three cats.
